"If cost was not the driving factor, how would you design the ultimate pressure-relieving bed?"
– Bob Duncan, Founder
A bed built from a single question.
If cost was not the driving factor, how would you design the ultimate pressure-relieving bed? Ciridian began with that simple question and with the simple wish to solve founder Bob Duncan's own back pain.

After three decades building American Leather into one of the country's most respected high-end furniture companies, Bob found himself waking up most mornings with back pain and stiffness. He had tried every mattress on the market. None of them solved the problem, because the problem was never about finding the right mattress. It was about the fact that a mattress, by definition, cannot change.

Bodies change. Positions change. Weight, age, and recovery change. A bed that supports you perfectly at 40-years-old may fail you at 50-years-old.
The right bed is not a fixed object.
It is a responsive one.
That insight became Ciridian. And thus, the journey to creating the world’s smartest bed, began.
Ciridian spent nearly a decade engineering a smart bed that does what no other can:
continuously adjust to your body, in real time, throughout the night.
At the heart of the system are 400 independently controlled smart springs. The result is a bed that equalizes pressure across your entire body, eliminates the points that wake you up, and lets your spine, your nervous system, and your sleep cycles do what they are built to do. The work of restoration. The work of waking up actually rested.

Ciridian is engineered and built in Dallas, Texas. Every bed is bespoke. The mattress ticking is sourced from Belgium. The upholstered platform is hand-built and offered in a range of leathers, fabrics, and finishes. The lower surround is solid wood. The illuminated side window, a quiet signature of the design, opens a view into the technology beneath.
Welcome to the world of better sleep.
